This class is for manual wheelchair users to learn and practice skills such as wheelies, ascending/descending ramps, curbs and stairs, and transferring from the floor to their wheelchair. Each class is led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and begins with a shoulder warm up to help reduce and prevent shoulder pain. This class is sponsored by Permobil and includes short educational talks focused on topics such as optimizing positioning and propulsion. **This free class meets the second Thursday of each month from 12-1pm with the first class starting on May 12th.**
